October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This month is very personal to us as our Founder, Barbara, lost her battle with breast cancer in 2010.  To honor her, we will be hosting a month-long raffle from October 1st – October 31st.

How does it work?

The B.A.C. Fund has partnered with the Honda Classic Cares Annual Birdies for Charity program!  By contributing a donation of $20 or more, you will be entered into the Honda Classic raffle AND the B.A.C. Fund’s raffle!  For every $20 donated you will receive one entry into The B.A.C raffle as well as one guess in the Birdies for Charity program.  Drawing for The B.A.C raffle winner will be Monday November 1st, 2021.

What is the Honda Classic Cares Annual Birdies for Charity program?

The Birdies program serves to help 501(c)3 organizations generate additional fundraising dollars through an exciting contest that culminates with a grand prize winner driving home in a brand new 2022 Honda!  Donations of $20 or more receive the opportunity to make guess(es) on the number of birdies that will be made at the 2022 Honda Classic.

What is a birdie?

A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole. Par is the average expected score for any given hole (typically 3, 4, or 5). PGA pros are expected to make anywhere between 1,000 – 1,500 birdies during The Honda Classic.  Don’t worry, the entry page shows past years birdie numbers to help you make your guess.

How does this benefit The B.A.C. Fund?

The Honda Classic collects all the donations and will write a check back to The B.A.C. Fund for 100% of the money plus a 5% matching bonus!  That means 105% of your donation goes directly to The B.A.C. Fund!

What can you win?

Through the Honda Classic program, the person coming closest to the actual birdie number will receive a brand new 2022 Honda automobile!  Through The B.A.C. Fund you will be entered to win a Limited Edition Harvest Red YETI Tundra Hard Wheeled Cooler!
